A haircut for B | Mommy and Me Monday | 687th ed
Whether or not she likes it, B is at least a little like me. When I decide I’m ready for a haircut, I want it done like right now. If I have to wait, I end up changing my mind or freaking myself out.
I have no logical explanation for this.
This week, B asked to get her haircut. She said something to the tune of, if you do it, that’s okay, but I’d rather go somewhere. I don’t know why, I thought she was pretty happy with her Pandemic haircut at home in 2020 and her Haircut at home in 2022.
So, I told her I’d figure out how to make it happen. We had a lot of appointments and places to be both at home and away, so it was a bit of a struggle. But, I made it happen Wednesday!
Even though I did the thing in the app where you tell them you are coming, we had to wait a bit for another person getting their haircut. Thankfully, she wanted to take some pictures with mom while waiting.
Then, it was her turn and the woman got to cutting. Before we knew it, we were back at home and she was sporting her much shorter hair do.
We didn’t plan any travel or extra bits of fun for Spring Break, but there was a lot to be done and we checked off a lot of to do lists. Here’s to heading back to school for the last couple weeks before summer.
