A Busy Week Back to School | Mommy and Me Monday | 756th ed
With a school start on Thursday, we had a last couple days before school started and really packed them full.
N, B and I had several errands and appointments as well as groceries but squeezed in a lunch together in the middle of all of it. Shockingly, I threw out a place I knew was in the area and both of them thought it sounded good and it was a win!
It’s always weird to me when we fit at a standard table when the whole family isn’t together.
And before we knew it, summer was over and it was time for school to start.
12th, 10th, 7th and 5th. One last first day for the oldest. And one last last first day at the elementary school (after 13 years of having a kiddo there).
Pretty sure it’s just B and me as the shortest in the fam!
Saturday morning was an early wake up call for the 2 mile time trial for both middle and high school.
All of the girls has personal records for their time trial times and ran really good races! It was fun to watch them and see all four of them at the same location.
A parent was nice to grab a picture of all of us together…which is so rare…chief cheerleaders and coach mom reporting for races!
And we capped the end of the week with Mr. Serious’ birthday.
N made his cake again this year, but this time at her job which made things much easier for all of us…except I had to pay for it! But, it was totally worth it.
We are ready for the full week of school and really getting into the thick of it quickly!
