College Tour, UGA | Mommy and Me Monday | 755th ed
This week was the oldests’ third college visit. It’s getting closer to crunch time, but right now we are just checking them out.
We headed to Athens to check out UGA (University of Georgia). We arrived early and had a little time to kill, so naturally a little selfie before the sessions started.
Guess I need to go ahead and replace my screen protector…the crack is causing some photo problems.
After hearing from admissions, faculty, staff, students, and the various schools, it was time for a very loose tour. Apparently, UGA folks really like their football or something, so there was a stop at Sanford Stadium.
After touring, we grabbed lunch in one of the dining halls and then made our way back home. Yay, Atlanta traffic on a Friday!
She had a running workout to complete and I had weights to complete, so we knocked them out together at the stadium. We just had a pit stop at home to change clothes and grab our gear.
She had a warmup, a race pace mile and some hills and I had a full body weight workout.
After our workouts, the football team was getting rid of some ice, so I put it in my towel. It was some welcome coolness when it was in the 90s outside! There was some sweating for sure.
It was definitely a week this weekend and now we are gearing up for school to start back up this week! I think we are all ready and not ready at the same time.
