Tour of Georgia…again | Mommy and Me Monday | 816th ed
After getting back from Blue Ridge, we only had a couple days before we put some more miles on the van. And more miles sitting in the van!
We headed out Friday to watch the oldest at her race. The ran held off until after they ran on what I think is the toughest course on which she’s ever run.
Thankfully one of her teammates snapped a picture for us. (Whew does this hair need cutting.)
Mr. Serious and I drove home that night and got in around 10:30 only to turn around the next morning and head over an hour north for the rest of the girls’ races.
Because of all of the trips and mileage, we needed to stop at Costco on the way home to get gas…and snacks for everybody. (Costco, please bring back the berry smoothie…the strawberry banana is offensive).
Then it was home and shower and get ready to drive to Athens (via Buckhead) for the UGA “blackout” game. Mr. Serious was invited to some fancy seats and I was his plus one and then N got to come because another person’s plus one wasn’t able to. (We told her to keep the lipstick, but she decided it was too bold!)

With an awning over us, it was hard to get lighting right to see us all, but it’s us at the UGA game.

I definitely met my sitting and standing quota for the weekend. We got home at 2:30am!
All added up it was over 500 miles and over 11 hours in a vehicle. I think this is the first month I’ll need an oil change within the same month as the sticker and the mileage.
Also, I’d like another nap.
What did you do this week?
