Thanksgiving Week | Mommy and Me Monday | 825th ed
We had almost a whole week with everybody home and we sure did fill it. From themed food days (did you catch french fry Friday) to Just Dance dance offs, to a Thanksgiving run and dinner and more.
Hopefully everybody got to do their wished for activity during the break.
We were very focused during Just Dance. It’s hard to dance without bending or twisting, but I did what I could…everybody else went all out.
We were up early for the Gobbe Jog…but not too early. N and I powerwalked it at a pretty fast 16 minute mile pace. We were pretty happy with that pace.
Everybody else ran their races and we met at the end for a post-race picture. There were no medals for any of us, but we got to run with the middle school and high school team.
We spent the rest of the day in pajamas and had family friends join us for dinner.
We saw Zootopia 2 and it was a joy! Definitely go see it. It’s a very well done sequel. We all found funny parts.
Before the oldest left, we got the inside of the house decorated. The outside had to wait until it stopped raining, but our tree is up!
Then, it was time to wrap up the week so we did it with a holiday tea. It was set up quite festively.
We made sure to get one more family picture after our tea and checking out the trees because the oldest was literally leaving to head back to school after our tea.
It was a nice week with everybody home and we are looking forward to it again in a couple weeks after the first semester of college finals.
