It started out innocently enough. The kids were restless and I was tired of the TV. I had been reading on the floor and had them come over one at a time to “line up” for the Ha-Ha game.
It’s a game I remembered from camp in elementary school/middle school. I don’t even remember all of it, but it was still good fun.
The first person lays on the floor. The next person lays down perpendicular to the first person with their head on the first person’s belly. Then the third person lays their head on the second person’s belly. And, you keep doing this until you have all of your people lined up.
Then, you begin the Ha-Has.
The first person does one “ha.”
Then, person number 2 does “ha ha”
The third does “ha ha ha” and so on.
I think we made it to the sixth person like once. Then the girls (and Mr. Serious) realized if they said their “has” in a funny voice, everybody would crack up.
That’s really the point…to get people to laugh. Actually, I think if somebody laughs, really, they are supposed to get out of the line and everybody rearranges themselves. Or if they lose track.
Once you get to the end, the person at the fronts/first position starts over again.
By the end, the laughs are rolling.
And, well, if one picture is worth a thousand words, then I’m not sure what these six are worth.
Yeah, I tried to snap a picture and the kids all moved so they could be in the shot.
Then some certain sisters didn’t want other sisters in the picture.
And other sisters didn’t want their faces blocked.
Then, more sisters got in.
Oh…I think we almost got everybody.
There we go…that’s the winner!
Sisters can’t keep their hands to themselves either, what can I say?
What did you do this week?
