Road Trip to Great Wolf Lodge | Mommy and Me Monday | The 264th ed
We’ve been needing to get up and go. With all of the snow days and travel separately, we needed some family time together. A perfectly timed invitation to Great Wolf Lodge made that happen.
Friday, I packed us all up, hit the road and picked up Mr. Serious from an offsite work location and we were off. For about an hour, it was just me and the girls. I love that I got all of us in one picture (even little B in the mirror). Just in case you are worried, we are sitting in a parking lot waiting for Mr. Serious, so I was able to safely take a picture and let the girls lean a bit out of their belts.
Four-ish hours later, we were there just in time for grabbing some dinner. (Seriously, Atlanta traffic at 2pm…I don’t get it!)
We learned B isn’t really a fan of the water, but the older three didn’t want to leave and they are already asking about our next trip.
I had to ask a passerby to snap a picture of all of us. This is about as good as it gets these days. E apparently has a case of narcolepsy and B is wondering what the heck E is doing. I have four pictures and E is making the same face in all of them.
We had a great time, have full bellies and tired bodies…losing an hour didn’t help!
What is your favorite family destination?
Since the button code stopped working many moons ago, I took it out. But, if you are adding your link to my link list, please, as a courtesy, add a link back to my site so people can explain and link up themselves if they’d like. After all, that’s the point of the link up!
Book your trip to Great Wolf Lodge now!
It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information. Need another reason to participate in Mommy and Me Monday? Read my post about why I blog with words from a friends’ husband.
**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.*
I’ll have to chat with you about it. Would love to go, but the $ seems really high. But anyway, I love the van photo! Cuteness.
I had an awesome time! Maybe one day we’ll go in the Summer and check out the outside portion of the waterpark.
Thanks for hosting! First time here 🙂
great pictures – I am glad you got to get away as a family and have some fun – this weather has been cruddy – love E’s expression – she’s such a silly girl
Great pictures! We took the kids to Great Wolf Lode a couple years ago and had a great time! We’re planning to go to Mount Olympus for spring break this year (in the same neighborhood as our Great Wolf Lodge).
I really want to check out Great Wolf Lodge, but I’m wondering if I should wait for my 2 1/2 year old to get a little older to really appreciate it ?
The first time we went our second daughter was just over two and this time our third daughter was just three. They both had a blast! There is a ton of stuff for a 2.5 year old to do include some slides that aren’t in the baby area.
Great, thanks for letting me know ! I’m going to look into planning a trip 🙂
I keep saying we want to go there…
maybe one day 🙂
LOVE the GWL, my kids are Constantly asking to return, they had so much fun! Glad y’all did too.
Great looking family! You must have had a blast!!
