Four out of the five of us really enjoy yogurt. We especially enjoy Greek yogurt. When I was given the change to try the Yoplait Greek 100, we were excited to give another version of it a try.

Yoplait Greek 100

I was a little skeptical of the advertising of it being 100 calories. Most of the Greek yogurts we purchase are around 120-140 calories when flavored. So, upon further inspection, I noticed close to the end of the ingredients, that they contain sucrolose (or Splenda). I cannot eat artificial sweeteners. They leave a bad taste in my mouth. Mr. Serious ate them and said they had a funny aftertaste too. I was a little disappointed because it’s not really saving that many calories and they still have sugar in them.

Many people like sucrolose and don’t have issues with it, if that’s you, definitely give them a try.

Right now, when you go into Publix® through May 31st you can purchase flavors like Black Cherry, Lemon, Mixed Berry, Peach, Tropical and more — 10 for just $10!

General Mills, Publix and MyBlogSpark want to give you 4 VIP coupons to try the yogurt as well as a $25 Publix gift card to pick up anything else at the store you might need.

I’ve just tried it about a week ago for the first time and didn’t like as well as my sister does. I do like artificial sweetners but it may have just been the one I tried and it was not this brand

  24. I can’t stand artificial sweeteners either…I can ALWAYS taste it. And unfortunately this isn’t really Greek yogurt. A lot of companies are now adding things to their yogurt to give it the consistency of Greek yogurt without having to go through the process to make it naturally (which does require a big machine when making in huge batches like this). Chiobani and Fage are really truly Greek yogurt…and true Greek yogurt is so good for you that I don’t really mind having it be higher in calories. Of course I may be biased (says the Greek).
