Netflix stream team disclaimer

The girls have discovered a new show on Netflix, Project Mc² and thankfully, it’s my kind of show, too because they are all about S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math)

Project Mc² is a new live-action original tween series featuring four super smart and science-skilled girls who happen to also work for a top-secret spy organization (NBD). They have really been into spy shows lately, so incorporating math, science and more is something we all appreciate.

Project Mc² is a fresh take on the typical tween girl show you’re probably familiar with. The series has S.T.E.A.M. organically woven throughout the storyline, making it fun and breaking the stereotype that being smart, funny, stylish and capable are mutually exclusive. Project Mc² reflects today’s tweens in a relatable way, giving girls four empowered female leads to look up to.

We were sent a kit with four different experiments to do at home. Even without the kit, you likely have all of the tools you need to conduct these experiments at home and then record the findings in a notebook.

The girls had a great time getting it all together and figuring out the reusable blueprints. Take a look at their video.

We’ve also done acids and bases, and paper chromatography with my elementary aged girls. What science experiments have you done at home?
