I can’t not talk about the horrible and sad events of this Friday morning. All of those babies that won’t be returning home to their moms. My heart aches for them. I’ve cried for them.

I can’t imagine. I spent the weekend snuggling my girls and holding them for longer than they’ve wanted. I didn’t know what else to do. I don’t know what else to do.

We slowed down and took them in this weekend. And will think of those innocent children and their families.
We are also thanking our teachers this week, too. For everything they do for our children.

I’ve been hugging my girl more & just appreciating every moment. Nothing seems to be that big of a deal anymore. The tantrums, messes etc…
Exactly.
I can’t stop crying about it. Everytime I really let myself think about it I cry. This world feels so hopeless sometimes. But we must have hope.
That’s what I’m hanging on to!
I sent notes to Red’s teachers today. We also slowed down and were thankful for every minute of the day, whether it was a cranky or happy one.
We sent notes, too. And we’re trying to savor it all.
I held both mine super close this past weekend and have been doing it all week. My heart still breaks when I think of the tragedy.
It’s so very sad and terrible.
I believe you can never snuggle with your babies enough. It is great to snap a photo of it too.
