Allow the silly face first | Mommy and Me Monday | 594th ed

When the kiddos are “so bored” inside after device/screen time is done, it’s time to head outside. 

Which is where I found them after my walk. (Not to worry, they weren’t home unsupervised…there’s a lot of people at our house!)

They weren’t too impressed with their outside time, but much like when they were littler, if I get out the phone and take pictures, their moods almost always change.

First attempt:

Second attempt. This is the one where I told them to make silly faces. I often forget that I get a better smiling picture if I allow for or even request a silly face picture first. 

Third attempt. Yep, that’s a winner. Allow for a silly face and you’ll get smiles. At least almost every time.
