Quarantine and Isolate | Mommy and Me Monday | 654th ed
This week has been fun. Except, I mean not fun. First it was B, then it was me, and now it’s E.
There’s been various stages of room shuffling, masking and meals in rooms.
There’ve been lots of snuggles and lounging. And entirely too much streaming of shows and movies.
If you play this one right, it looks like I’ve just had a very fancy spa treatment. When actually, something made my entire body itchy, so there was a shower and then lunch via tray in bed.
There have been hurt feelings and emotions, too. Tired of being alone and feeling excluded. Nothing a full body mommy snuggle couldn’t fix.
I thought she was asleep already and went do to the phone trick…ha. She got me. But the second one, she was finally out.
The oldest had a chemistry test that didn’t go so well. She discovered the importance of completing the study guide. So, despite it being after the test, we went back to complete the ones on which she was stuck. Nothing says “my mom was a chemistry teacher” like doing a chemistry problem over google hangout.
This week should bring us all back to health and restored energy.
