Race Day | Mommy and Me Monday | 655th ed
The first race where we were all healthy and well happened this weekend! It was hot. It was humid!
N met her goal of under 16 minutes with 2 miles in 15:42.
E was out for a week with the big C and finished with a time of 19:27.
We know they both will continue to push and improve this season. And, they’ll get another chance this coming weekend.
And both the girls and boys teams left with 2nd place trophies. So proud of them! And love how they are proud of themselves!
The girls finished their race and by the time we walked over, the boys awards were already done. I’ll have to grab a picture next time with them.
It was another divide and conquer Saturday!
The oldest had to be on the bus at 5am for an early run. Mr. Serious saw her race, scooped her up and drove home for B to have her first game for cheer. I scooped the oldest up from the game before it was over, we all had lunch and then it was off to her second driving lesson.
This weekend will hopefully be a little more chill, but it’s only Monday and a lot can get planned between now and then!
