In the Kitchen with N | Mommy and Me Monday | 715th ed
It was another busy and fulfilling weekend!
We had a race (with a PR for N and the team qualifying for state), a cupcake order, a baby shower, hanging out with friends we haven’t seen in a while and all of the other things that need to happen on the weekend.
First sharing N’s super cute woodland themed cupcakes. She got into color theory and figured out to get the colors just the way she wanted them and created the cute little toppers.
Sunday, I was making salmon and remembered I had bought some mushrooms.
With the salmon already cooking, we were pressed to get the mushrooms sliced and cooking quickly. Thankfully, N feels at home in the kitchen and offered to clean them and then we sliced them together. Many hands wielding knives makes light work.
Or course, it only makes sense to stop to take pictures mid-slicing, too.
We’ve got the state race coming up and both girls qualified for the team/alternates, so it will be an exciting two weeks.
We’ll also probably spend some time in the kitchen.
What did you do this week?
