At least one photo with everybody | Mommy and Me Monday | 814th ed
There was a lot of driving this week. To new places, to old places, via our cars, rideshares and buses.
There was a fancy dinner with Mr. Serious with very tasty steaks. It was the first time I’ve been on the freeway/interstate in quite some time. And yet, I did it a few more times this week.
Friday, the oldest kiddo’s race was within driving distance, so we ventured to a new-to-us-city and racecourse to watch her college team run. It was nice to see her and hug her and see her do what she loves.
We had to get a little pre-race picture.
And a golden hour post-race picture, too. Their team did so well and she did well, too.
Then it was a long interstate ride back home to be up early to watch the high school and middle school teams run. Thankfully, they were at the sam course, so I was able to see everybody run. However, I failed to get a picture with N at the race.
I did get one with these two when we were some of the last people leaving. It was a hot late-morning race!
It was then home and squeeze in my own workout while N got ready for the homecoming dance. All sparkly and cute next to my sweaty self.
I think we need a weekend to recover from our weekend….maybe next week?
