Haircuts and styles | Mommy and Me Monday | 571st ed
The last of the girls got a home haircut by mom. I was most nervous to cut her super-thick and straight hair. But after Mr. Serious’ eleventy-billionth haircut at home (I think I’ve even gotten okay-ish at the fade), I told E to come outside with wet hair and went to town. (After never being able fully remove hair from the bathroom, all haircuts happen outside!)
E had been one of the most vocal about wanting a cut, but I was pretty nervous and told her I was “faking it ’til I make it.” Thankfully, she really loves it and even complimented my work, so I’m feeling pretty good about it.
Not good enough to cut my own hair, however. Plus, it’s always up in a ponytail or bun because, where do I even go anyways?
Or it’s got a headband. In fact, we all got to wear headbands after watching a DIY “Fashion Headbands” show. B and E made an entire kit full of handbands, put on a fashion show for them and then we each picked one we wanted to wear. Of course, Mr. Serious participated, too (next time he gets one with a bigger bow)!
The girls are back to virtual school this week. We’ll see what the week holds after.
The Groundhog Days feel like they just keep coming and the cold weather really seems to limit our options to keep ourselves entertained. Good thing there’s a lot of us!
What did you do this week?
