The family ventured to Stone Mountain Park for their Stone Mountain Christmas events (we received tickets). We didn’t do all the things, but had a great afternoon of making memories.

We found the 3D picture spots and Mr. Serious found me taking a picture of the girls…and well, took a picture.

Since there was daylight and we couldn’t see all of the lights yet, we started with miniature golf. Naturally, we started with a selfie…or an usie. We noticed later on the sing-a-long train that the miniature golf course had black lights and black light paint, so next time, we’ll test it out at night. (Check out the video at the end to see it in action).

After golfing, we spotted some story times and character meet and greets. Mrs. Claus was telling a good story, and the Abominable Snowman was happily taking pictures.

We took the girls to the Dinosaur Explore ball pit for some fun times. We took them in and didn’t see them again until it was time to leave.

Alas, there were some snack monsters, so we grabbed a snack and munched while waiting in line for the sing-a-long train. There are monitors with the words the entire ride and also a little story time mid-ride where the train stops.

By the time the ride ended, it was dark. We wanted to grab some more pictures now that the lights were more visible. And also, admittedly, to check out our new phone capabilities at night. The phone didn’t disappoint.

Even got a Daddy and Me Monday picture.

These teens man. They just grab a phone and start taking selfies…like right when you put a handful of popcorn in your mouth, let’s get a picture with mom. And, me…I run with it. Memories, right?

B needed some extra cuddles. She got tired (the parade starts at 6:00..it wasn’t too late!), so we had a little dance time.

Before we knew it, the parade was over and the crew was ready for dinner. There’s lots more to do and see like the 4D movie, some glass blowing, a candy shop, and meeting Santa. But we figure you can’t do it all every time.

We were able to stop somebody to grab us a nice family shot and we were on our way.
