Christmas Eve Hike | Mommy and Me Monday | 724th ed

Christmas Eve required some movement outside. Especially with the forecast of rain for Christmas all day long. We needed to get some wiggles out.

I suggested a family walk/hike. We tried to decide what the difference is, and nobody could give a good answer. So, I’m calling it a hike. It was outside with some substantial hills, rocks, trees, roots and horse droppings.

The older two girls have run here several times and knew the way, but we started at a slightly different spot.

About 4 miles in, we stopped to grab a picture.

According to the trail app, the hike was about 8km. All of our watches clocked us at right at 6 miles. I think we sort of two two hikes and combined them.

It was good to get outside and moving with no distractions.

We made it back to the car only a couple minutes late for a family phone call, but definitely we got home quite hungry and snacky.

Wishing everybody a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, or fabulous Monday!
