Happy 10th birthday, B | Mommy and Me Monday | 725th ed
B is now in double digits. Two whole full hands! It’s crazy how fast these last 10 years seem to have passed.
B enjoyed opening her presents first thing in the morning. And, the many faces of B, too!
Then it was time to get dressed and grab our annual “return to you birthplace in our downstairs bathroom” picture. There’s no snuggling her in anymore. She keeps on growing. In fact, she lost one tooth on her birthday and another the very next day.
She headed off to a girls morning with her sister (Target, Starbucks and Moe’s) and had some fun hanging out time.
She asked for hibachi for dinner, so we went for it. And had to grab a picture before leaving.
Her request for birthday dessert? Not a cake, but mousse. I think N was kind of relieved because it was easier, but also bummed she didn’t get to make a dream birthday cake come true.
I think she was happy with her mousse!
Year 10 brought again some more lost teeth, several trips, vacations and cruises, a couple hair cuts, running a time trial with the middle school kids and an official cross country race. B has also participated in chorus and science olympiad this year. She keeps getting taller every year, despite her thinking she’s not growing.
B is a super smart and funny kid who will also pull out a zinger and get you pretty good. I guess that comes with being “the baby!”
I can’t wait to see what this year brings for her, the end of 4th grade and starting 5th, her final year of elementary school. It happens so darn fast.
