Prom + A Birthday | Mommy and Me Monday | 793rd ed
The week was likely the busiest we’ve had so far this school year. If it wasn’t, I don’t remember another time.
There were three days of races; two for the oldest two and one for the youngest two (and coach mom). That doesn’t even count the concerts/performances. My birthday was wedged in there, but we waited to celebrate on the weekend.
The end of the week culminated in lots of sunburns (oops…we did put on sunscreen, just not well) and then prom preparations.
It was actually her senior prom (despite the third time attending). She went with a smaller group; just another couple and I think that suited everybody well.
Just some quick pictures at a nearby neighborhood with some gorgeous azaleas blooming. And, I actually remembered to get a picture with her.
N and I were the only ones that went to see pictures, so, while we were in charge of holding bouquets, we got a picture of us, too!
We had a chance for birthday celebrations on Sunday. N made me a carrot cake with some homemade candied pecans, butterscotch and cream cheese frosting. It was delicious.
We are doing a fun run this weekend, and that’s it! Whew! (Although, it’s only Monday…there’s time for things to get added!)
