Happy Easter 2021 | Mommy and Me Monday | 582nd ed
Last year, all of the Easter Egg hunts were cancelled. We were trying to avoid the stores so the Easter bunny must have avoided them too because there was no hunt at our house.
This year, our neighborhood egg hunt was cancelled as well. I wanted the girls to get to have an egg hunt and realized our church children’s ministry was having one.
We were fully prepared for a morning egg hunt and got to church with plenty of time. What we didn’t realize is that the kids were still starting in Sunday school, which we haven’t personally started attending yet.
This gave us plenty of time to hang out outside and get some family Easter pictures.
Loving this unmasked family selfie!
And Mr. Serious even got on with all of my girls and me! (I got one with him, too, but a certain redhead was completely over taking pictures at that point!)
The girls wanted to get a mommy and daddy picture, too. Prom pose it is, 22 years later!
Then it was time for the hunt. We’ll use the term “hunt” very loosely here.
The girls each got their own little area, wore their masks and after waiting two years, finally had an Easter egg hunt where they literally couldn’t put any more eggs in their baskets!
It’s Spring Break here and we’ve got some fun planned.
What did you do this week?
GET IN THE PICTURE WITH YOUR KIDS! Who cares what you look like? Cares how you appear? Who cares what you are wearing? JUST DO IT! Come share your picture on the Facebook thread or use #MommyAndMeMonday!
It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.
