Fred-The Bread-The Snowman | Mommy and Me Monday | 779th ed
Meet Fred-The Bread-The Snowman (and our family). Apparently, that’s his name. I’m just the reporter. And the one that threw the carrot, hat and scarf out the front door so that he could be fully snowman-ified.
It seems to snow about once a decade here (or to my recollection- found some pics from 2010 and 2008, not to mention Snow-mageddon when the city shut down for days because of ice in 2014), so this was a big day for everybody. The snow was coming down hard at 7am and didn’t stop for a while.

Once Fred-TheBread-The Snowman was complete, we got to come out and have a family picture.
I got to thinking, did we name snow people growing up? Then ha…wait, I grew up in Texas. I’m not sure I ever made a snowman there. Maybe while traveling? But, I don’t recall naming them?
The kids were a flurry all around the house and the neighborhood. They made sure to get in all the things while there was a fresh coat of powder.
Trampoline jumping? Sure.
Snow eating? Why not?
Borrowing a neighbor’s sled? Yep!
Hill sprints up a snowy hill? Absolutely.
It’s just another snow day in the big city!
