Off to the races | Mommy and Me Monday | 820th ed
This weekend, we were up bright and early (well, actually, dark and early) to watch the oldest race at her home course.
It’s not super spectator friendly (you see them at the start, 2/3rds of the way and then the finish). I snapped a pic at the first loop and she was looking strong. (And captured the rest of us in a shadow!)
She had a great race and took over 2 minutes off her last time on this course. She knows she has more to unlock, but that first year of college and new team means a lot of learning and figuring out.
It was nice that the entire family was able to go! N even got her run in before we watched the oldest race at 9!
And I was able to get a picture with my oldest two runners! Word is there’s a family picture floating around, but alas, I didn’t take one.
We won’t get to see this girl again until Thanksgiving, but N has a couple more races to attend before everybody gets a break! Then we will all have a Thanksgiving race. Well, Mr. Serious and E and B will race. I’m still only able to walk and we’ll see what the oldest two do with their race and running break. We might just have a fun 5K walk!
